The Snake River High School class of 1953 held their 65th high school reunion on June 16. The event was held at the Riverside home of classmate Ezra Robertson and his wife Leah. Present were 21 of the 50 original graduates plus some of their spouses.The reunion featured a catered meal and a day filled with reminiscences.
Class president Ross Bowman has been reminding classmates annually of this special reunion. He followed up with a booklet containing updates on fellow classmates.The reunion ended with a touching memorial to remember the classmates who have already passed on. The assembled classmates release purple and white balloons. In the words of Elinor Hyde who attended the reunion, these then floated away towards the sky and clouds as "a symbol of forever friendships."
