Bingham County Sheriff

CAUSING PROBLEMS: April 8, 7:41 a.m.: A woman said she believes someone has been opening her gates and letting the horses out. She said someone has broken the padlocks she put up and now they have started turning on the water when she leaves.

TRUCK ON FIRE: April 8, 8:29 p.m.: A caller reported a truck on fire. They said orange flames are coming from the engine compartment and the truck has a full tank of gas.

FIREARM VIOLATION: April 9, 4:24 p.m.: A caller reported someone shooting a high-powered rifle or a handgun by the boat dock at Tilden Bridge.

BURGLARY ATTEMPT: April 9, 10:42 p.m.: A woman said two people wearing all black and ski masks tried to enter her residence while she was on the porch. She said she fired a shot into the air to scare them off.

BURGLARY: April 8, 2:39 p.m.: A man said his residence was burglarized sometime this morning.

STOLEN CALF: April 10, 12:26 p.m.: A caller reported the theft of a red angus calf from their residence.

NO WATER: April 11, 1:43 p.m.: A caller said someone has broken their fawcett and they have no water.

MISSING CHANGE: April 11, 6:10 p.m.: A caller reported a break-in and said they only took change.

SUSPICIOUS DRIVER: April 12, 6:15 p.m.: A caller said a man with Utah plates is driving around the area and may be canvassing the area.

HAZARD: April 13, 2:36 p.m.: A caller reported a shed that has blown into the road and is causing a hazard.

HAZARD II: April 13, 4:41 p.m.: A caller reported a tree limb in the middle of the road causing a hazard.

BURGLARY: April 14, 9:27 a.m.: A man said someone broke into his vehicle in the last hour.

SHOOTING: April 14, 9:29 a.m.: A man said someone shot the window of his mother's residence.

ASLEEP AT THE WHEEL?: April 15, 12:35 a.m.: A caller said there is a truck that has been running at a service station for more than two hours.

FRAUD: April 8: There were several reports made of fraud including on Craigslist, bank accounts and a vehicle title.

IN THE CAR: April 8, 10:23 p.m.: A caller said two people are in a vehicle with tinted windows and they have been there for 25 minutes.

HOSTAGE SITUATION: April 9, 2:43 p.m.: A woman said she was being held hostage and then the line disconnected.

NARCOTICS DEALER: April 9, 6:04 p.m.: A caller said they think narcotics are being dealt out of an apartment complex near their residence.

ROCK VS WINDOW: April 10, 8:02 a.m.: A caller reported a rock thrown through the window at their business on Ash St.

BURGLARY: April 10, 8:20 a.m.: A woman said someone broke into her business and the cash register is missing.

SEXUAL HARASSMENT: April 10, 12:05 p.m.: A woman said she is receiving text messages that are sexual in nature from a unknown number and they won't stop sending them.

BLOODY PANHANDLER: April 10, 1:26 p.m.: A caller reported that a man is panhandling on the side of the road and has dried blood on the side of his face and his neck.

POKING THE DOG: April 10, 4:53 p.m.: A man said his neighbor was seen poking and filming his dog.

ANIMAL ABUSE: April 10, 7:10 p.m.: A caller at the Y Motel said there are some dogs in a cage and a juvenile that is hitting, kicking and yelling at the dogs.

THEFT ON TAPE: April 10, 10 p.m.: A caller at Maverik reported a theft from the business and said they have the incident on video.

PIZZA THEFT: April 10, 10:25 p.m.: A caller at Pizza Hut said a man took $55 worth of pizza without paying for it.

DUMPING ON TAPE: April 11, 11:58 a.m.: A caller said someone has been dumping furniture on their property. They said they put up a surveillance camera and now have footage of a truck dumping furniture on the property.

NARCOTICS: April 11, 3:10 p.m.: A caller said a man has 11 marijuana plants in his basement and a small child lives at the residence. They said the man is using drugs on a regular basis. An arrest was made.

ATTEMPTED THEFT: April 11, 9:37 p.m.: A caller said someone has tried to break into the back door and a window.

TV THEFT: April 11, 9:02 p.m.: A caller said a man has taken his daughter's flat screen TV.

ANGRY PAINTER: April 12, 1:35 p.m.: A caller said someone went to her mother's house and offered to paint the whole house in one day and when she refused they left in a van and ran over the mailbox.

BURNING TRASH: April 12, 2:41 p.m.: A man said one of his neighbors is burning garbage.

THEFT: April 12, 2:10 p.m.: A man said someone broke into his Jeep and stole $80 and some bullets.

SHOP-LIFTING: April 13, 10:36 a.m.: A caller at the Liquor Store reported that a man has taken items out of the store. They said this happened about three weeks ago.

9MM: April 13, 11:56 a.m.: A caller said they found a 9MM in the restroom at Les Schwab.

PHONE THEFT: April 12, 6:02 p.m.: A caller reported having their phone stolen from a locker at the Blackfoot Swimming Pool.

HUNGRY ROBBER: April 13, 7:23 p.m.: A woman said she went out to dinner and when she came home the blinds were different and the door had fallen off of the fridge. She said there is also food missing.

FENCE DAMAGE: April 14 2 p.m.: Two callers from Shilling Ave. reported that someone had damaged their fence. Once caller also said someone had taken the garbage out of her garbage can and threw it all over the yard.

THEFT: April 14, 3:26 p.m.: A caller at Deseret Industries said three people are loading donated items into a car.

SHOP-LIFTING: April 14, 10 p.m.: A caller at Walmart said three people have been detained for shop-lifting. An arrest was made.

GAS THEFT: April 8, 4:14 p.m.: A caller said a vehicle left without paying for $26.06 in gas.

Shelley Police

HAZARD: April 11, 10:54 p.m.: A caller reported three one-ton bails of hay in the intersection at Fir St. and State St.

NO CAMERA: April 11, 6 p.m.: A caller said they are unable to locate their camera in their house.

DING-DONG: April 13, 10:08 p.m.: A caller said some teenagers are ding-dong ditching them.
