Lucius Edward Gardner, 29

Lucius Edward Gardner, 29, of Pocatello, Idaho passed away December 27, 2012 at his home.
            He was born March 17, 1983 in Wichita, Kansas to Ronald Blake Gardner and Sandra Jo Robinson Elison.  Shortly after his first birthday, his parents separated and Blackfoot, Idaho became his new home where he spent the majority of his life.
            He attended school in the Snake River School District and earned his GED at Idaho State University.  He furthered his education through on-line courses.
            In April 2002, he married Krystal Duffy-Lott and they later divorced.  Together they had 2 amazing children who he truly adored, Avery Jay and Alexis Jo.
            Lucius made lots of friends during his life.  Wherever his life choices took him, his associates enjoyed his witty personality and his great sense of humor.  He enjoyed camping, fishing and cabinet making, but most of all cooking.
            He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
            He is survived by a son, Avery Jay Gardner and a daughter, Alexis Jo Gardner both of Honalae, Hawaii; parents, Ronald Blake (Seria) Gardner of Chubbuck, Idaho and Sandra Jo (John W.) Elison of Blackfoot; sisters, Rochelle (Matt) Nelson, Alayna (Dave) Shook, Breanna Gardner. Krista Jo Cates and JoAnna (Josh) Bragg; brothers, Wyatt (Katie) Elison, Mathew Dexter (Jo) Gardner, Damien Ross (Shay) Gardner, Darius Alen (Briana) Elison, Justin W. (JoAnne) Elison and Joshua Kade Elison; grandparents, Ron and Arlene Gardner, Shirley(Vera Jo) Robinson and Lewis (Dona) Elison;  numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews
            He was preceded in death by grandmother, Elaine Elison, grandfather, Almy Jay Robinson and uncle, William Roy Robinson.
            Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 31, 2012 at the Blackfoot West LDS Stake Center.
            The family will meet with friends on Sunday evening from 6-8:00 p.m. at Hawker Funeral Home, 132 S. Shilling Ave. and for one hour prior to the service at the stake center.
            Interment will be in the Groveland Cemetery.
