Lois L. Jones, 65

Lois L. Jones, 65, of Blackfoot, Idaho went home to her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, February 6, 2013, surrounded by her loving family.
Lois was born February 7, 1947 in Holbrook, Arizona to Shirley and Dorothy “Hope” Pulsipher.  When Lois was three, she and her parents moved to Twin Falls, Idaho where her brother, Mark, was born.  Lois’ father died when she was five and Mark was only about ten months old.  Lois, Hope and Mark then lived with Hope’s parents, Bob and Ina Blaser, until 1955 when Hope married Michael Samac.  They moved to a home in Twin Falls and later two more brothers, Mike and Ken, were born.
Lois graduated from Twin Falls High School in 1965.  She attended the University of Idaho before marrying John R. Wilson.  John and Lois had two sons, John Patrick Wilson and Gordon Christopher Wilson.  John and Lois were later divorced.
Lois met Michael “Mike” Dean Jones in 1984 and knew she had found the love of her life and soul mate.  Lois and Mike were married on September 6, 1990.  She then became a stepmother to Angelia Marie Jones Palmer, John Paul Jones and Jennie Marie Jones.  Lois and Mike both love children.  Together, they had 18 grandchildren and one great grandchild.  Three of their grandchildren live with them and they are such a joy.
Lois enjoyed music, animals, such as her dog and constant companion, Pierre, camping, fishing, hiking, riding bikes, gardening, being a homemaker, but most of all, being with family and friends.  Lois was raised in the Catholic faith and was recently baptized into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  She had a strong faith in God and belief that everything happens for a reason and is part of God’s plan.  Lois opened her home and heart to anyone who entered.  She is loved and will be missed by all.
