Jennifer Hammond Lawrence

In Memory of Jennifer (Jenn) Hammond Lawrence
Jennifer (Jenn) Hammond Lawrence joined her paternal and maternal grandparents on Thursday, July 25, 2013. She passed away from heart complications in Melbourne, Fla.
Jenn was born Sept. 1, 1968 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Richard Clair Hammond and DeAnn Adams Hammond. Jenn was the second child in a family of six children.
She graduated from Snake River High School and attended BYU-Idaho, formerly Ricks College. After college she moved with her family to Miramar, Fla. and spent the rest of her life there.
She did come back to Blackfoot to see her grandparents, Homer and Fern, and aunts and cousins.
Jennifer had a beautiful smile and loved her children and husband. She was a kind person and would have done anything for you.
Jenn was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
On July 29, 2006, Jenn married Robert Lawrence at Indian Harbour Beach, Fla.
Jenn loved being a photographer. She took pictures of newborns and did an excellent job. The photos she took were lovely.
Jennifer was a beautiful person, not only outward but within. SHe had a beautiful smile. Jennifer loved her family. Many family members and friends everywhere will miss her. SHe always had a hug for her grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Tim Hammond (Jenn's brother) said, "Jenn was not only my sister, she was one of my best friends through life. She played many roles with me. She was my sister first, a friend, a roommate and, at times a mother to me. She helped me when I made bad decisions, chose the wrong friends or started heading down the wrong path in life. She helped me grow up a lot after I moved away from home at the age of 18. She was an amazing friend, mother, wife, sister, aunt and an all-around person that would do anything for anyone of us at any given time. I have no words to describe how much I will miss her. She always is in my heart. I love you, Jenn."
Philip Hammond (Jenn's brother) said, "Families are forever."
Jennifer was a hard worker. She worked in the potato fields during harvest vacation while attending Snake River High School. I remember Chris and Jenn coming to my home one night, covered in dust from working all day; however, she still had that beautiful smile.
Jenn always had lots of fun with her brother, Chris, and cousins, Michael and LoriJo, from drinking Coca Cola in their grandmother's basement (without permission) to giving Alka-Seltzer to her grandfather's horse to see what Alka-Seltzer would do to a horse. They had fun in their grandfather's shop from parties to racing in the wheelchair. What beautiful memories of Jennifer!
Jenn is survived by her husband, Robert Lawrence of Indian Harbour, Fla.; her two daughters, Kyley and Skyler, brother and sister: Chris (Tammy) of Puyallup, Wash.; Tim (Megan) of Palm Bay, Fla.; Philip of Miramar, Fla.; Andrea (Ray) of Pembroke Pines, Fla.; Jon (Laura) of Gainesville, Fla.; nieces and nephews: Tori, Chase, Allison, Anthony, Lauren, Marrissa, and Kelsie and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Her grandparents, Homer and Fern Hammond and Maurice and Ellen Adams, preceded her in death.
Her funeral services were performed in Indianlantic, Fla. on July 29, 2013. We want to thank everyone who has always been a support to Jenn and her family throughout the many years. We love you, Jennifer, and will dearly miss you and your beautiful smile. Love your family for Eternity!
