BHS welcomes new volleyball coach

Staff Writer

BLACKFOOT - There will be a new coach patrolling the sidelines for Blackfoot High School volleyball this fall. Alisha Nebeker has accepted the offer of Athletic Director Cody Shelley and officially takes over the position when fall practice and tryouts open up on Aug. 11-12.
"We have had a lot of girls show up for the open gym sessions this summer," Nebeker said. "The fact that so many girls have shown an interest is certainly encouraging."
Nebeker is a Blackfoot resident and has been for virtually her whole life. She went to school in Blackfoot, played volleyball at Blackfoot High School and only left town to pursue her collegiate interests when she went to Western Wyoming Community College in Rock Springs, Wyoming.
