Blackfoot tennis earns sweep of Rigby on windy senior day

April 23, 2014

But with Gorder out sick, Cannon had to move to singles Wednesday against district foe Rigby.
Long after all the other matches had finished Cannon and Rigby's Jared Neville were battling in a third set tiebreaker. After losing the first set 7-5, Cannon battled back and won the next two sets 6-2 and 6-1 to lead the Blackfoot boys to a 6-0 victory over the Trojans. The Bronco girls also defeated the Trojans 4-2 on a blustery senior day at Blackfoot High School.
