Maria Consuelo”Chelo” Lora, 53, of Blackfoot, passed away Monday, Nov. 11, 2013 at her home.
She was born Dec. 7, 1959 in Zimapan, Hildalgo, Mexico to Narciso Lora Labra and Placida Cruz.
Maria received her education in Zimapan, Mexico and had lived the past 22 years in Blackfoot.
She was a parishioner of the Roman Catholic Church.
She married Nemorio Trejo on May 4, 1994 in Blackfoot.
Maria worked at Idaho Potato Packers, now NonPareil. She enjoyed cooking, singing, music and was very family-oriented. She was very kind, friendly and loved by everyone.
She is survived by her husband, Nemorio Trejo; sons, Edgar (Alondra) Trejo of Blackfoot, Luis (Ana) Trejo of California; daughters, Rocio (Travis) Ramirez of Pocatello; mother, Placida Cruz Lora of Mexico; brothers, Roberto Lora, Adrian Lora, Silverio Lora; sisters, Sebastiana Lora, Genoveva Lora, Evangelina Lora, Nemoria Pelayo; and eight grandchildren, Ayla, Lakecia, Isai, Anisiah, Liani, Emily, Eddie, Angela.
She was preceded in death by her father, Narciso Lora Labra, and a brother, Francisco Lora Cruz.
A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 15, 2013 at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church.
A Rosary Service will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday at Hawker Funeral Home, 132 S. Shilling Ave. The family will meet with friends following the Rosary Service.
Interment will be in the Grove City Cemetery.
