Vicki Lynne Wheeler Wilson Weeden, 71, peacefully passed away, Saturday, July 7 2013 at Kaweah Delta District Hospital in Visalia CA. Born February 16, 1942 in Blackfoot, ID to Dean E. Wheeler and Geraldine Jones. Married to David L. Wilson on June 5, 1964 in the Idaho Falls Temple. She was a teacher for the Jordan School District. She served faithfully in the Riverton 8th Ward in various church callings. She was very musically talented and blessed with a beautiful voice. Her husband David L. Wilson passed away on February 11, 1998, after which she began singing with The Shubert’s musical group. She loved to travel and visited many parts of the world where she met her present spouse, Donald L. Weeden. They were married in the Jordan River Temple on February 16, 2006. They enjoyed working in the Jordan River Temple, traveling together, and visiting their family. She loved her family and friends and was devoted to them. She had a tender loving heart, loved to laugh and have fun.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, her husband David L. Wilson and two sisters Juliet Cammack and Claudia Wray. Survived by her husband Donald L. Weeden and her four children Todd Wilson of ID, Melanie Hill of CA, Michael Wilson of NV, Melissa Glover of CO, and 18 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson. A visitation will be held at Salser & Dillard Funeral Chapel, located at 127 E. Caldwell Ave in Visalia on Tuesday July 9th 6-8pm .
Funeral Service will be held at theThe Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints located at 825 W. Tulare Ave in Visalia on Wednesday July 10th at 11am. Graveside services will be held on Saturday July 13th at 2pm in Riverton City Cemetery. With a viewing prior to the graveside services from 1:00-1:45pm at Broomhead Funeral Home located at 12600 S. 2200 W, in Riverton, Utah.
