Lola R. Penoyer, 70, of Blackfoot passed away Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013 at Bingham Memorial Hospital in Blackfoot.
Lola was born Dec. 17, 1942 to Andrew and Ruby Anderson. She was a lifetime resident of Blackfoot and attended grade school in Pocatello, Jorman, Twin Falls and Richfield.
On Jan. 14, 1961 Lola married Robert Penoyer in Blackfoot.
Lola was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She worked at TeePee Potato and later at Sunspiced. In her free time she enjoyed puzzle books, reading, playing Bingo and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Lola is survived by her children, Bob Penoyer of Chubbuck and Annette Jones of Blackfoot; brothers, Darwin Anderson of Washington and Ronald Anderson of California; sisters, Sharon Wade and Joyce Jensen; three grandchildren, Jennifer Jones, Robert Jones and Garth Jones; and one great-grandson, Levi Juestesen.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013 at Hawker Funeral Home, 132 South Shilling Avenue in Blackfoot. Family will meet with friends and relatives from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013 at Hawker Funeral Home and for one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Interment will follow at the Groveland Cemetery.
