Terry Grant Jensen, 62, of Blackfoot passed away peacefully Feb. 27, 2014 at home of cancer.
Terry was born in Blackfoot Dec. 21, 1951 to Grant D. and Virginia Jensen. He lived in Blackfoot his entire life except during his military service.
Terry graduated from Blackfoot High School in 1970 and served in the US Marine Corps from 1971 to 1973. He married Margaret "Peggy" Oliver on Nov. 28, 1971. He worked as an automotive machinist for a total of 34 years, working for Don's Auto Parts, Billmeyer's and Kirkham Auto Parts. He was well known for his excellent machine work.
Terry enjoyed camping, fishing, cars, pets, his family and friends. He was a skilled handyman in all areas. He was baptized into the body of Christ in 1996.
Terry is survived by his wife Peggy; his children, Lee (Amy) Jensen of Billings, Mont.; Corrine Jensen of Pocatello; Edward Jensen of Louisville, Kent.; his grandchildren, Bella, Carter, Joseph and Carly; and his sister, Pam (Randy) Cox of Blackfoot.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Jensen; father, Grant D. Jensen; stepmother, Susie Jensen; and grandparents, Ralph and Edith McCauley and Calvin and Grace Jensen.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on March 22, 2014 at the American Legion Hall, 23 Mitchell Road, Blackfoot.
