Stoddard students jump for the Stars

This Stoddard Star Jumper performed for their families, fellow students, teachers and staff at the Blackfoot Performing Arts Center on Friday. Team members numbered 120 this year.

One hundred twenty Stoddard Star Jumpers performed for their peers, teachers and parents at the Blackfoot Performing Arts Center on Friday.
This is the second year Stoddard has had a jump rope team. Last year, 75 students were on the jumping rope team.
Announcer Mattie Merle from Z103.5 donated his time to mc this event.
The head coach is Stoddard teacher Alicia Cody. She was assisted by 11 teacher/coaches, five parent coaches and 13 sixth grade junior coaches. The 120 students attended grades kindergarten through sixth grade.
A $1,000 grant from Bingham Memorial Hospital and numerous grants from Donor's Choose.org helped purchase supplies for the team.
