Shelley's Paytin Drollinger signs letter of intent

SHELLEY - The ancient Greeks and Romans must have had something right as they honored their greatest athletes. To be considered amongst the greatest of the greats, they not only needed to achieve their greatness on the field with their athletic prowess, but also with their ability to spread goodwill and friendship while doing so.
On Wednesday, Shelley showcased an athlete that would have been among the those the Greeks and Romans honored, as Paytin Drollinger signed a letter of intent to attend college at Utah State University.
Everyone should take notice of this signing because it wasn't just that Paytin is a great athlete, she is. Paytin is one of the premier distance runners in Idaho, regardless of the Shelley's classification. This girl can just flat out run.
Drollinger is much more than that as she is also smart. She has been named the Valedictorian for Shelley High School this year, sporting a perfect 4.0 grade point average. She also is a genuinely great person in that it isn't about her, it is about her team and family and those lucky enough to be around her.
