AMERICAN FALLS — Over the past three years the Snake River High School volleyball team has established its dominance over the rest of the competition in the 3A Fifth District.
The Lady Panthers have been crowned district champions in each season earning the automatic state tournament berth that comes with it.
Tuesday at American Falls High School the Lady Panthers began their quest for a fourth consecutive district title with a straight set win over Bear Lake 25-17, 25-15, 25-8.
While the scores made it look as the Lady Panthers dominated the match, which they did, the No. 4 seeded Bears made Snake River work in the opening game.

FIRTH — Setter Jordyn Park dished out 56 assists in two matches as Firth advanced to the championship round of the District Six volleyball tournament.
On Tuesday the Cougars defeated West Jefferson 25-16, 25-12, 25-14, then disposed of North Fremont 25-16, 25-18, 25-10.
