Aaron Torgerson has been named store manager of Bingham County Implement, 1102 W. Bridge in Blackfoot.
"I was raised in Hamer, Idaho, doing hay and then potatoes and grain," he said. "I was working at Walker Farms in 2010 and talked with my wife about making a change in my life."
He moved his family to Rexburg to attend BYU-Idaho beginning in 2011. He graduated in 2013 with an associate degree in agricultural management. Torgerson became the store manager at Bingham County Implement ten days ago.
"Now I can focus on Bingham County," he said. "It's a good team here. I will try to help it be successful."
Speaking of John Deere, Torgerson said, "I have always bled green. I think John Deere is higher quality and more comfortable. It's a better machine than anything else I've operated. C&B Operations, Inc., of Gettysburg, South Dakota, is a great company to work with; it's a great partnership."
