Mable Pierce, 84

Mable Pierce of Fort Hall died Sunday Jan. 20, 2013 after a long battle with cancer.
Mable passed at the home of her daughter, surrounded by loved ones. She was 84 years old.
Mable moved to Fort Hall in 1959 with her husband Ed Pierce. They started an auto repair shop and expanded it into a salvage/wrecking yard, Ed’s Auto Wrecking.
Mable and Ed were retired. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Mable was active in all the family activities, stock car racing, fishing and camping. Mable especially loved traveling with her husband Ed in their motor home to visit distant family and friends. Mable enjoyed having spirited conversations with others.
She is survived by and will be missed by three sons, Webb of Pocatello, Joey (Anita) and Eddie of Fort Hall; one daughter, Alice of Meridian; one sister Hazel of Jacksonville Ore.; three grandchildren, Erin (Shane) Ames of Pocatello, Grant and Edward Jordan Pierce of Fort Hall; four great-grandchildren, Dallen and Raquel Ames from Pocatello, Alexander and Heydan Pierce of Fort Hall. Ruby LeClair (Stephan, Shirley) Ogden, Utah, and Richard Brown of Pocatello are also part of the family and Mrs. Nellie Nussbaum was Mable’s lifelong friend.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed; her father, mother and one brother.
A life celebration/open house will be conducted Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Assembly of God on the corner of C Street and C Ave. in Fort Hall townsite across from Fort Hall Elementary School.
