Joseph Archie Grover, 63

Joseph Archie Grover, 63, of Moreland, passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2013 from injuries sustained in an accident.
Joe was born Sept. 12, 1949 in Blackfoot to Samuel B. Grover and Gwendolyn Cheney. He graduated from Aberdeen High School in 1968 and attended Idaho State University in Pocatello.
 On April 11, 1969 Joe married Lena K. Michelson in Springfield. She preceded him in death in March 26, 1995. On Jan. 8, 1999 Joe married Rebecca Otteson in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
 Joe worked as a maintenance mechanic at FMC until they closed and he decided to go back to school. He studied as an aircraft mechanic and became certified.  He worked for Deseret Air in Terreton. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, collecting guns, chariot racing and spending time with his family. He loved to watch his children and grandchildren in anything they participated in.  Joe was a wonderful man and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. 
Joe is survived by his wife, Rebecca Grover of Moreland; sons, J.R. Joseph Sam (Susan) of Pocatello, Justin Lee (Camille) of Kimberly, Bart Leon (Kimberly) of Blackfoot and Cameron (Jenie) Dick of Vernal , Utah; daughter, Krisi Dick of Blackfoot; brothers, Bill, Dean, Danny, Kim and John; sisters, JoAnn Stosich, Carol Cortazar, Kay (Ramon) Calzada and Kathleen Grover; 11 grandchildren; and his dog, Ringo.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 6, 2013 at Hawker Funeral Home, 132 South Shilling Avenue in Blackfoot.  The family will meet with family and friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, May 5, 2013 at Hawker Funeral Home and for one hour prior to funeral services. Interment will follow in the Moreland Cemetery.  Condolences may be sent to the family at condolences@hawkerfuneralhome.com.
