Helen Guthrie, 80, of Blackfoot passed away March 15, 2013 at The Willows in Blackfoot.
She was born July 31, 1932 in Quick, West Virginia, the daughter of Hubert Fredrick Hoffman and Thelma Myers.
She lived in Charleston, W.Va.; San Francisco, Calif.; Burbank, Ohio and moved to Blackfoot in 2004.
Helen worked for Charleston General Hospital, KDSS Senior Center and the Central Parking System, all in Charleston, W.Va.
She enjoyed playing Bingo and reading.
She is survived by sons, Kirk Varner, Dock (Debbie) Varner, Fredrick (Kim) Guthrie; daughter, Carolyn (John) Wilson; sisters, Melba (Bill) Smith, Doris (Hubert) Fulks, Evelyn Adkins; grandsons, Glen Varner, Fredrick Guthrie, Jr., Dayton Guthrie, Justin Varner, Gregory Arnot, Jonathan Arnot; granddaughters, Margie Varner, Nicole Varner, Natalie Varner, Amanda (Jordan) Ryan, Ashley Wilson, Brittany Guthrie, Caprica Arnot, Loretta Arnot; great-grandchildren, Scott Varner, Ethan Varner, Luke Varner, Anthony Varner, Tristan Ryan, Avin Ryan, Kaylee Varner, Sierra Clark, Jordan Varner, Victoria Freeman, Brandy Freeman, Harley Dawn Freeman; 5 great-great- grandchildren; step-granddaughter, Martha Brown Varner; step-grandson, Ron Brown, Ricky Hickman, Billy Hickman;Â step-great grandchildren, Joey Jepson, Anthony Jepson, Jeremiah Brown, Cheyanne Brown, Hunter Brown, Opal Gardner; step-great great grandchildren, Braxton Gardner, Kaden Gardner, Gary Gardner, Bella Gardner.
She was preceded in death by parents; son, Anthony Varner; sister, Janet Hughes; grandson, Christopher Wilson, and great-grandson, Craig Allen Landers.
No services are planned at this time.Â Direct cremation took place under the direction of Hawker Funeral Home.
