Francis Kay Wildenhaus, 76, passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at Ridge Wind Assisted Living in Pocatello.
Kay was born April 21, 1937, in Ferron, Utah, to Ernest S. Mower and Pearl Swenson Hancock. She attended school in the Snake River School Dirstrict. Kay has lived in Northern California and Pingree, Idaho.
In 1955 she married Thomas Wildenhaus at Pingree, Idaho. Thomas preceded her in death in 1995.
Kay was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She worked as a salesclerk for J. C. Penney Co. for 30 years before retiring.
Kay devoted her time and talents to her family and loved spending time with them and supporting them in their various activities.
She is survived by her children: Jeanie (Craig) Criddle of St. George, Utah Kevin Wildenhaus of Seattle, Washington; Allen Wildenhaus of Sacramento, California; sisters, Lynda (Gene) Belnap of Salt Lake City, Utah, Brenda (Jerry) Overdorf of Pingree; three grandchildren: Garett (Emory) Criddle, Colter (Tara) Criddle, and Daphne Kay Wildenhaus (Dan) Walters and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas, a son, Rick Wildenhaus; her parents, Ernest S. Mower and Pearl and Frank Hancock, brother, Ernest Clair Mower and sister-in-law, Annette Mower.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 12, 2013, at the Riverside-Thomas Cemetery under the direction of Hawker Funeral Home in Blackfoot.
