Foote to perform Friday at BPAC

Family entertainer Norman Foote was practicing with students at Stoddard Elementary on Thursday. The performance with the support of fourth and fifth graders from Stoddard will be on Friday, Feb. 16, at the Blackfoot Performing Arts Center.
Foote worked with each class to write a song.
"The melody came from one of the kids," he said. "I just help them along as they write the words."
Third, fourth and fifth graders are writing a song about Blackfoot, Idaho."
One of the verses reads, "Do you want to go to Blackfoot, Idaho? … That is where the big potatoes grow. It has lots of green grass and a lot of blue sky and a big cow pie." Tickets are $20 and $15 for reserved seats in the first fifteen rows. The back eleven rows are general seating and tickets are $5 per person. Children under 6 will be admitted for free in the general seating.
