Firth freshman McKinzie Fielding developed a Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) project, called “Cherish the Trust,” that encouraged trust. She is competing in Interpersonal Communication, Junior Division, which strengthen communication in relationships.
The goal of her project was to identify what trust is; how it is developed and to strengthen the function of the family.
She developed her project because, in the past year, her sister went through a divorce.
“Trust takes years to build; seconds to break and forever to repair,” she quoted.
