Esmiie Elexis Quezada, 1-year-old daughter of Leiyah Quezada and Antonio Bautista of Fort Hall, died Monday, Dec. 31, 2012 at Primary Childrenâ€™s Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, from a sudden illness.
She was born on Aug. 20, 2011, in Pocatello.Â She has always been a very cheerful child with a big sweet smile on her beautiful face.Â When she heard music she always liked to move to the beat of the music. She showed her manners by always saying thank you from an early age.Â Esmiie was our little ray of sunshine who spread happiness in all our lives.Â Our little ballerina is now dancing in Heaven.Â She was loved by many and will be missed by all.
She is survived by her parents Antonio and Leiyah of Fort Hall; grandparents, Heather Martinez, Fort Hall, Louis Quezada, Blackfoot, Marcela Montoya and Benito Joya of Rigby; great-grandparents, Romelia Martinez of Pocatello and Graciela Bautista of Blackfoot; great-great-grandmother Ione Martinez of Firth; and aunts Juanita Quezada, Salisha Quezada, and uncle Luis Quezada of Fort Hall.
She was preceded in death by a grandfather Roque Vega; great-grandfather Edward T. Johnson Jr.;Â great-great- grandfather Romelio Martinez and great-great-grandparents Katie Looking and Jacob Bad Hawk.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, at the Hawker Funeral Home.Â The family will meet with friends on Friday from noon until time of services.
