POCATELLO — The Bannock County Bluegrass Music Association presents the 14th annual Bannock County Bluegrass Festival on Aug. 18, 19 and 20 at the County Fairgrounds in Pocatello.
This is a three-day bluegrass music festival, featuring nine fantastic bluegrass bands from Idaho and surrounding states.
“Come and help us celebrate our 14th anniversary and enjoy a weekend filled with toe-tapping bluegrass and bluegrass gospel music,” said Festival organizer Penny Steed. “There will be daily concerts beginning Friday at 6 p.m.
“Be sure to bring your lawn chair so you can sit on the grass in front of the stage. You can camp for the weekend and bring your guitar or other bluegrass instruments so you can jam with the other musicians, or attend our music workshops. Bring your family and enjoy a relaxing weekend filled with good music, beautiful scenery, good food and lots of parking lot picking. There is something for everyone.”
