Donna Marie Crabtree, 81, of Blackfoot, Idaho passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 22, 2014 at The Syringa Chalet.
She was born October 1, 1932 to Arnold James Glassner and Carmen Zabach in Sanger, California.
She was a California native spending her youth in Sanger, California.Â Later, she and her mother moved to San Francisco, CA.Â
On February 12, 1955, Donna married Charles Crabtree.Â
For the next several years, she was a full time mother and homemaker in San Francisco, and later in San Carlos, CA.,Â But times being what they were, she later accepted a clerk position at Sequoia Hospital in Redwood City, CA.Â Upon her divorce from Charles, she moved to Redwood City. When her mother needed assistance, Donna went to Hawaii for an extended visit.Â She later re-located back to San Francisco, Santa Rosa, and eventually Blackfoot, Idaho.
Donna was a woman who showed great determination in the face of adversity.Â She was resilient during the turbulent times of 1960â€™s Bay Area.Â She exuded a love of nature and reverence of the Lord and Christian values.
The family would like to thank Dr. Bryce Moser, Sara Russell, Amy Hope, Skylar Jackson, Marvin Perry, Troy Henderson, Mark High, Kat Clowerd and the staff, associates and friends in Syringa Chalet.
Donna is survived by her son, Donald Crabtree in San Francisco, CA.Â

A memorial service will be held 10-11:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at The Syringa Chalet Chapel. Â
