Cougars end regular season

FIRTH —The Firth Cougars bid a fond farewell to four seniors before Wednesday evening's showdown with the first place West Jefferson Panthers. After a hear warming pre match ceremony honoring Emily Fielding, Kelsie Oliver, Brooke Chapman and Shannon Spencer the visitors disrupted the proceedings with a 3-0 shut out of the Cougars.
"I hope that these seniors continue to have big dreams and the courage to go after them," Firth head coach Carla Reeves said. "I was especially proud of Kelsie Oliver tonight. She just went out there and played her heart out."
Oliver collected 7 digs on the evening while Brooke Chapman tallied 4 kills, 2 assists and 2 digs in her final home outing as a Cougar.
Firth will next play in the district tournament beginning next Tuesday at Ririe.
