• The musical, ‘Into the Woods,’ is playing at 7 p.m. in the Shelley High School Little Theater, 570 W. Fir. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $6 per seat. The musical runs through Saturday, March 18.

Tuesday, March 14
• Community Dinner Table will serve a hot meal for those in need from 5-6:30 p.m. at Jason Lee Memorial United Methodist Church.
• Supplemental Levy Election in Blackfoot and Snake River School Districts from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. in voting precincts.

Thursday, March 16
• Legislative Breakfast begins at 7 a.m. at Stingers Bar and Grill. Local legislators will do a video conference, allowing citizens to ask questions or air concerns to the people elected to represent them.
• Shelley School District board meeting at 7 p.m. in the District Service Center, 185 W. Center St., Shelley.
• Cattle Kids meeting for kids and their parents at the Bingham County Extension office at 412 W. Pacific in Blackfoot. For more information, call (208) 785-08060.

Friday, March 17
• Benefit dinner to help Kathy Van Ommen and her family will take place from 6-7:30 p.m. at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 1110 Parkway Dr., Blackfoot. Suggested donation is $8 for adults and $5 for children up to age 12. Van Ommen is currently battling lung cancer. For more information, call 785-3304.

• GENTRI - The Gentlemen Trio at ISU at 7:30 p.m. at the L.E. and Thelma E. Stephens Performing Arts Center. Tickets are $26 main seating and $22 for upper level. • Annual Breakfast sponsored by the Twin Buttes Lion Club from 7-11 a.m. at Rockford Elementary School. Cost is $19 per couple or $10 per person. A family ticket for immediate members only cost $30. Tickets can be purchased from any Lion’s member, at the door or by calling Glenna at (208) 681-6039.
• Bingham County Republican Committee Lincoln Day Luncheon at 1 p.m. at the Blackfoot Elks Lodge at 123 N. Ash St. in Blackfoot. The Keynote Speaker will be Blackfoot native, Congressman Mike Simpson. Other speakers will include Idaho’s Lt. Governor Brad Little, State Controller Brandon Woolf and other locally elected officials. There will be a musical performance by Dusty Rae Packer and Jacob Fielding.
