Christmas Tree Fantasy opens with tea tonight

Morning News — Leslie Mielke Vanae Turner decorates the tree contributed by Milestone and E.M. Tanner and Sons to the Bingham Christmas Tree Fantasy. "I wanted to showcase the real meaning of Christmas," she said. The Fantasy Tea begins at 5 o'clock this evening. The Fantasy opens at 10 a.m. on Wednesday. The entrance fee is $2 per person or $10 for the immediate family. The money raised goes to charity organizations in Bingham County.

The 34th annual Bingham Christmas Tree Fantasy opens this evening with a tea at 5 o'clock in the Needlecraft Building on the grounds of the Eastern Idaho State Fair.
A sweet shoppe, cafe and boutique are open come Wednesday at 10 a.m.
The Fantasy is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday through Friday and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.
Hours for the Fantasy Cafe are from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. A reasonably priced lunch special is offered each day.
The entrance fee to the Fantasy is $2 per person or $10 for the immediate family.
All activities for the Fantasy will take place in the Needlecraft Building.
Tickets for the tea and Breakfast with Santa on Saturday morning can be purchased at Kesler's and the Chamber of Commerce. Tickets can also be purchased at the door.
Highlights for the Fantasy are the auction Thursday evening and Breakfast with Santa on Saturday morning.
The auction for trees, wreaths and home decor times begins at 7 p.m. on Thursday.
Breakfast with Santa is from 9-10 o'clock Saturday morning.
Santa and Mrs. Claus will read a story, said chair Jana Rupe. Each person attending the breakfast will receive a gift. Tickets cost $10 per person and can be purchased at Kesler's and the Chamber of Commerce.
People are encouraged to purchase tickets for the breakfast early so organizers can get a count on the number who will be attending. Tickets can also be purchased at the door on Saturday.
