Christine J. Cooper Cahall, 46, Moore, ID. resident, died Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012, in Salt Lake City, Utah, following a sudden illness.
She was born Aug. 9, 1966, in Blackfoot, the daughter of Leslie Cooper and Beatrice Pratt Cooper.
Her early years were lived in Blackfoot where she attended schools and graduated from Blackfoot High School.
She was married to Jeff Hawkes in Blackfoot and to this union was born a son Josh.¬† They were later divorced.¬† She was later married Andrew Cahall in 1995 in Moore.¬† They have lived in Arco/Moore the past decade.
Chris was an activist for organ donation and was active in the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.¬† She had helped raise awareness and funds at various fund raisers and events.
She had worked in Twin Falls as an administrative assistant.¬† She was an avid reader, an expert chef who loved new recipes.¬† She also loved her pets and organizing family events and keeping her family close and together.
She is survived by her husband Andrew Cahall of Moore,; son, Josh Hawkes of Stanley; her mother Beatrice Cooper of Blackfoot; two brothers, Roger Cooper of Shelley and Robert Cooper of Pocatello; four sisters, Sharon Bauman, Park City, Utah; Carol Cooper Torrez, Firth; Elaine Cooper, Boise; and Deana Aure, S. Ogden, Utah.
She was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Makaya and her father, Les Cooper.
¬†Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012, in Blackfoot at the Hawker Funeral Home, 132 S. Shilling Ave. The family will meet with friends at the funeral home for an hour prior to services.
Interment will be in the Grove City Cemetery.
