Christina Maria Morales, 42, of Blackfoot passed away Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013 at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls.
She was born April 7, 1970 in Blackfoot to Arturo Carrizales Morales and Carolina NuĂ±ez Morales.She attended Blackfoot High School and received her associates degree from ISU.
She married Juan Rodriguez and they were later divorced.
Christina was baptized and raised Catholic, but later joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She worked in Blackfoot at the Cheese Factory, Car Quest Auto Parts and also for American Linen.
Christina enjoyed playing and watching sports, camping, fishing, cooking, and going to yard sales.Â She was always very giving to others and dedicated her life to loving and serving her grandchildren and family.Â She was a true example of charity.Â
She is survived by her parents, Arturo Morales and Carolina NuĂ±ez Morales;Â sons, Juan (Keishia) Rodriguez and Joseph (Natalie) Rodriguez, both of Blackfoot; daughter, Linda Marie Rodriguez of Fort Hall; siblings, Esperanza (Todd) Talbot of Blackfoot; Victor (Julie) Morales of Blackfoot; Carolina Morales of Pocatello; Rosa Linda Morales of Greeley, Colo.; Esquiel Morales of Greeley, Colo.; Alex Morales of Greeley, Colo.; and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Arturo Morales.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013 at Hawker Funeral Home, 132 S. Shilling Avenue in Blackfoot.
The family will meet with friends on Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home and for one hour prior to the service.
Interment will be in the Grove City Cemetery.
