Bobby McRae

Glen Robert "Bobby" McRae, Jr., 23, of Rexburg, died Tuesday, June 18, 2013, in Salmon, Idaho from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was born March 2, 1990, in Rexburg, Idaho to Glen Robert and LaNita Peterson McRae. He attended elementary school in Burton and graduated from Madison High School in 2008. 
He was engaged to Michelle Versluys and planned to be married in July.
He was a hard worker and at age 10 helped Kent Riley build log cabins. He later worked as a framer for his uncles in their construction companies, Timberline and Elk Country Construction. He was a truck driver and worked in the oil fields in North Dakota hauling water. At the time of his death he was working for Valley Wide Co-op driving truck. 
He was a great mechanic. He could tear apart and fix anything. He dyno-tuned diesel pickups and helped Jon Walker at Custom Auto win several competitions.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, archery and riding motorcycles.
He loved spending time with extended family at reunions camping in the mountains. He was a friend to everyone he met and like a big brother to many people. He was always there for his family and friends and had the ability to cheer and boost their spirits.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and cherished his memory of standing a few feet from President Monson as he set the cornerstone at the Rexburg Temple.
He is survived by his fiancé, Michelle Versluys of Rexburg; mother LaNita McRae of Shelley; father Glen McRae of Burton; siblings, Chyanne (Tyler) Swallow of Tremonton, Utah, Cassidy (Reagan) Steiner of Rexburg, Chett McRae, Cal Lee McRae, Chalese McRae all of Shelley ; nephews Grayson Swallow and Bentley Steiner; grandparents Glen Lyle and Elva Jean Peterson of Blackfoot. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Eldon Robert "Skip" McRae and grandmother LaRue Bradshaw McRae.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 22, at the Burton LDS Chapel, 4000 West 2000 South. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Flamm Funeral Home in Rexburg and Saturday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services.
