Idaho Lt. Gov. Brad Little and Blackfoot Mayor Paul Loomis are among those who watched Blackfoot High School's We The People constitutional competitive team win their seventh straight state championship on Wednesday.
Lt. Gov. Brad Little was among those impressed by Blackfoot High School's We The People team on Wednesday.
The Broncos won their seventh straight competition and earned the right to represent the state in the national event in Washington, D.C. in late April.
"I had the honor of watching these Blackfoot High School students participate in the "We The People" constitutional competition in Boise this morning," Little posted on his Facebook page. "They were incredibly polished and knowledgeable speakers, answering questions on the key differences between the American system of government and Britain's parliamentary system. Their U.S. government teacher, Holly Kartchner, is an incredible coach!"
"Today we really blew the doors off," Kartchner said.
