Bingham Co-op presented a check for $16,705 to the Southeastern Idaho Community Action Agency (SEICAA) on Wednesday.
The annual Harvest for Hunger food drive started in February and ended in March. The food drive is sponsored by Bingham Co-op and its parent company, Cenex Harvest States.
"This is $2,000 more than we gave last year," said Jeff Nii, Bingham Co-op's marketing director. "It's better than we've done before.
"I want to thank the community and the Chamber of Commerce," he said. "A lot of people sent in money.
"I hope we can grow with this," said Nii.
"This is going to help a lot of people," said Bobette Beesley, SEICAA Outreach Manager/ Bingham County Coordinator. "This money will not just help people in Bingham County but in Power and Bannock counties as well.
