Billie Edmondson passed away Sunday, Nov. 28, 2010 at her home, peacefully in her sleep.
Billie was born April 6, 1949, in Hereford, Texas, to Ezra Foster and Lela Pearl Penrod Foster. Billie was the fourth of nine children.
She married Edgar Edmondson II on Sept. 26, 1970, in California.
Billie moved to Blackfoot two years ago from Twin Falls to be closer to her daughter and her family. Her grandkids greatly loved their granny and spending time with her. She lived in many places throughout her life and enjoyed going on vacations with her daughter and family.
Billie worked for several years at the Depot Grill in Twin Falls where she made numerous friends. She talked many times about the Christmas cards and gifts she received. She was a very strong, generous and independent lady and loved to quietly help people.
Billie is survived by her daughter, Michelle (Allen) Hames of Blackfoot; son, Edgar Edmondson III of Phoenix, Ariz., and daughter, Yvonne (Terry) Rand of Fernley, Nev.; grandchildren, Matt, Ashton and Jordan Hames, Kimberlyn, Mikayla and Harrison Edmondson, Darrell Williams, Kearsten (Jesse) Armstrong and Kimi Abrams; and one great-granddaughter, Tayler Armstrong and her adored companion, Gizzy; sisters, Linda, Charlotte, Vickie, Bobbie, and Betty; and brothers, Buddy and Kenneth. She also had many great friends, including Dr. Kirt McKinlay and his staff, who she loved and greatly appreciated.
Billie was preceded in death by her parents; and infant brother; her grandparents; and a grandson.
A private memorial is planned for later. Arrangements are under the direction of Hawker Funeral Home in Blackfoot. Condolences may be sent to the family at firstname.lastname@example.org.
