Blackfoot High School yearbook editor Halle Phillips and advisor Teresa Gallegos enjoy going through old yearbooks and discovering fun, historical facts about the school and the community as they work with new technology to put together a commemorative 100th edition.

The yearbook staff at Blackfoot High School is creating a 100th volume "special edition" of the 2013-2014 publication, one that will be a keepsake for anyone with ties to Blackfoot High School.
BHS yearbook advisor Teresa Gallegos said the yearbook will be "bigger and better" than those in the past. It will be stocked full of old pictures, alumni interviews and fun historical facts about the school and the community.
Gallegos said that the yearbook staff started archiving last spring and have been meeting various deadlines all year long in anticipation of this commemorative edition. She praised yearbook editor, senior Halle Phillips, and her entire staff, for the hard work that they have put into the special issue.
"We've been going through old yearbooks 'page by page' and scanning them into the computer," she said. "We'll be featuring alumni interviews throughout the yearbook, including Josh Hill (the first NFL player from Blackfoot) on the football page."
