A Blackfoot firefighter received the Idaho Medal of Honor on Friday for his efforts during a 2016 rescue attempt.
Blackfoot Fire Department Capt. Dave Krumenacker was honored during the Idaho Fallen Firefighter Memorial Ceremony in Boise. The award was the state’s highest honor for firefighters, law enforcement officers and EMS providers.
