Russets ten run Idaho Falls JV 15-5

SHELLEY — Even though there was a slight chill outside, there was a heated game when the Shelley Russets baseball team hosted the Idaho Falls Tigers Saturday morning.
Shelley got the better end of a ten run rule win as the Russets walked off with the 15-5 win, before the bottom of the sixth inning was finished.

Broncos split double dip with Grizzlies

BLACKFOOT — Coming off of an eight day lay off due to Spring Break the Blackfoot Broncos returned to the diamond on Saturday afternoon for a double dip against 5A Skyline.
At the end of the day, the two teams split the twin bill with Blackfoot winning game one 3-1 and Skyline downing the Broncos 10-3 in the nightcap.

Cougars soar over Panthers 13-3

FIRTH — There's nothing better than opening the conference slate with a win and for the Firth Cougar baseball squad, that is exactly what they did on Thursday afternoon as they ten run ruled their long time nemesis West Jefferson 13-3 in 6 innings.
"It's nice to start out the conference with a win," Firth head coach Scott Adams said. "We have a lot of new faces in the dugout and it was good to start out with a win."

Ramirez one hits Beavers in 10-0 win

RIVERSIDE — Erica Ramirez tossed a 1 hit gem and the Snake River offense erupted for 10 runs on 11 hits as the Lady Panthers opened their conference slate with a convincing 10-0 win over American Falls on Wednesday afternoon.
"We'll take a ten run win anytime we can get it," Snake River head coach Kay Martin said. "It was a conference win and a conference win with authority and I am just pleased as punch with it."

Panther 2-1 win completes season sweep of Dragons

THOMAS — Behind a game winning single by Cole Rushton and a complete game pitching gem by Cash Cardona the Snake River Panthers completed the season sweep of the defending 2A state champion Malad Dragons on Thursday evening with a 2-1 victory.
"Great pitching match up," Snake River head coach James Carter said. "This is the second game the Cash has pitched for us and the second great effort from him. He threw the crap out of it today and threw a lot of strikes. He did a great job of pitching ahead of the hitters which makes them hit the pitch he wants them to hit."

Snake River dominates Soda Springs on the diamonds

SODA SPRINGS — In as lopsided a win as one will find the Snake River Panthers crushed host Soda Springs 20-1 on the baseball diamond Wednesday evening.
"We actually were holding runners," Snake River head coach James Carter said. "We probably could have scored thirty or more runs. We swung the bats pretty good and they struggled defensively."

Broncos beat Panthers 8-5

RIVERSIDE — Once again the Snake River Panthers and the Blackfoot Broncos collided on the softball diamond as the Panthers took to their home field looking for a season sweep over the Broncos.
Blackfoot was having none of that on Tuesday evening as they turned the tables on their earlier season loss to the Panthers as they pounded out 13 hits in an 8-5 road victory.
"This was big for us," Blackfoot head coach Matt Chavez said. "All week long we have come out and practiced with a ton of confidence and today they brought that confidence to the field. Our seniors came out strong and ready to play."
