Blackfoot High School is gearing up for their annual spring musical, ”Footloose" at 7 p.m. Friday, March 17 at the Blackfoot Performing Arts Center. Students have been rehearsing for weeks for the musical performance.

• The musical, ‘Into the Woods,’ is playing at 7 p.m. in the Shelley High School Little Theater, 570 W. Fir. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $6 per seat. The musical runs through Saturday, March 18.
The Idaho Science and Technology Charter School (ISTCS) is inviting all fourth through sixth-grade students in Bingham County area, to enter the ISTCS Science fair. The fair will take place at 9 a.m. April 15 at ISTCS, 21 North 550 West.
Friday would have been day four for the felony case of Kelley Anderson in the case of the State of Idaho versus Anderson. The case ended as Anderson pleaded guilty in a plea agreement to one reduced and amended felony charge of injury to a child.
Music in the Park organizer and local musician Doug Wareing, who directs the popular “Jazz House Big Band,” is searching for talent that would like an opportunity to play in the weekly concert series this summer.
On Thursday, students at A.W. Johnson Elementary in Firth, celebrated the 100th day of school. Students wore pajamas and brought sleeping bags, blankets and pillows to enjoy the movie, "How to Train Your Dragon."
