Blackfoot RadioShack to stay open

February 8, 2015

BLACKFOOT — At least three Eastern Idaho RadioShack stores are scheduled for closure between now and March 31. They're among 1,784 which will be closed as a result of the corporate filing for bankruptcy on Feb. 5. Those stores are in Pocatello, Chubbuck and Rexburg.
Vern's RadioShack of Blackfoot is among 800 independently owned stores which will not be affected by the corporate closures.
For Vern Murray and his six employees, the closures are a good news, bad news situation.
